Wild Camping - Slieve Binnian

A wild camping adventure in the Mournes has always been a bucket list item. With a brand-new tent as a Christmas present, a rare day off work, and despite a challenging 60-mile cycle earlier in the day, I decided now was the time!

After pitching my tent, I was rewarded with a breathtaking sunset that left me awe-struck. For 90 minutes, I was completely absorbed.

The next morning as dawn broke, I witnessed an extraordinary sunrise over Slieve Donard, accompanied by a sea mist that blanketed the coastline and low-lying areas. The scene was nothing short of epic, providing me with an opportunity to capture some truly remarkable shots. I couldn't help but feel fortunate, knowing that these exceptional conditions might not present themselves again.
